2018 FEAT WALK & Spring Carnival ~ Saturday APRIL 21

Registration Fees:
  • $25 per person ~ includes a T-shirt (adult sizes only) when registered by April 8
  • $20 EARLY BIRD Fee - when registered by February 28
  • Children ages two to 12 are $5 each (no shirt)
  • Children under two years old are free
  • ONSITE Registration available  - T-Shirts not available after April 8
  • Purchase Raffle Tickets onsite $5/each or five for $20

Event Schedule:
  • 8am to 9am Check In
  • 9am Kick-Off Rally
  • 9:30am 2k Walk on paved nature trail
  • 10am to Noon Spring Carnival
  • Raffle Winners announced at 11am
Logistics: Enter Maidu Community Park entrance from Rocky Ridge Drive and turn RIGHT. FEAT WALK registration and Spring Carnival will be on your right in the Sport Quad area.

Free Parking: Carpooling recommended. Arrive early as parking is limited and there will be sporting events taking place at Maidu Park.

Note: Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park, however please be very respectful of the presence of children with special needs.

FEAT's 25th Anniversary at the fifth annual FEAT WALK to be held Saturday, APRIL 21, 2018 at Maidu Community Park during National Autism Awareness Month. From 8am to 9am, check-in at the Registration Booth and pick up your T-shirts for registrants ages 12 and up, and Carnival wristbands for kids under age 12. Relax and enjoy morning refreshments, have your face painted, decorate a cool sun-visor, and cruise by the RAFFLE booth to purchase Tickets and pick out prizes. At 9am, everyone gathers at the event stage for the Kick-Off Rally, followed by a fun Spring walk on a paved walkway through Maidu Park's natural habitat. Walking at an easy pace, your family and friends can complete the 2k (1.25 mile) course in about 30-35 minutes. Water stations provided. Cross the FEAT Walk finish line and celebrate with your child's team at the Spring Carnival following the walk: JUMP Houses, Face Painting, Silly Photos, Games, Food, Raffle and more! Raffle winners are announced at 11am (winners must be present to pick up their prizes). FEAT Walk & Spring Carnival concludes at Noon.

FEAT Walk & Spring Carnival benefits Families for Early Autism Treatment - FEAT, a nonprofit volunteer organization of Parents and Professionals providing access to best-outcome autism treatment, a variety of resources, peer-to-peer coaching and advocacy strategies along with support and hope for the Northern California autism community.
